Our Centre Directors oversee the operation of the centre; they motivate and manage the team; they are the first point of call for families' questions and concerns; to the children they are their friend, teacher, entertainer and comforter and to parents they are a resource of information.
Our Centre Directors are always on hand to talk through any questions or concerns that parents may have.
At each centre there is a Leadership Group. They act as an important support for not only the Centre Directors but to their work colleagues and to families. The Leadership Group identifies outstanding employees who demonstrate strong leadership qualities and who go ‘above and beyond’ in their role. They benefit from professional development opportunities which Acre Woods believes will enhance their leadership potential and as a result will assist in their professional priorities and career goals.
Supporting each centre's operations is a team at the Acre Woods Head Office who provide a number of support services to each centre from administration and fees through to payroll, maintenance and HR.
The fundamental purpose of providing these additional support services to each centre is to ensure that each centre director and their team have less time devoted to these 'behind the scenes' issues and more time available to focus on the children within our care.
