Eastwood passes Spot Check with High Quality

Congratulations to Eastwood and the team! 

Our Eastwood centre was recently subject to an NCAC spot check which it passed with High Quality Standard.
Some of the observations by the validator included:

• Staff engage with children using appropriate tone of voice and interaction.
• Good hygiene procedures - washing of hands before eating, removing mouthed toys from the activity area to be cleaned.
• Children are engaged with a range of activities and resources, in this particular observation, children who do not sleep over lunchtime in the preschool room interact with staff while playing with a range of craft, puzzles and books.
• Follow processes and procedures including applying sunscreen before going outside, changing nappies as per procedures
• Safety Procedures - the centre had plug protectors on all power points.
