We are located right in the heart of North Sydney, providing great convenience to parents who work nearby or who work in the CBD and to parents who live locally. Our fun and dedicated teaching team provide wonderful learning experiences to our children in a bright, welcoming and inspiring environment. Even though we are situated in an office building, our centre has a large indoor/outdoor area which provides the ideal playing environment all year round. Why not come and see for yourself, we'd only be too happy to take you for a tour of our centre. Centre Director

Sending Letters from North Sydney
A visitor to our centre had an envelope tucked in their bag and a child in our preschool room asked what it was for. The visitor said they were going to post a letter later and asked if the child had ever helped their parents send letters. The child replied ‘no’, and asked where the visitor would put the letter to send it. The visitor then discovered that the child was unaware of process of sending regular mail and a long conversation followed. We decided to follow up on this conversation with a variety of activities that are still occurring. view more
Jungle Jammin' at North Sydney
On April 12th Malin came to Acre Woods North Sydney with his African drums for a fun music experience for all our children and staff. After this, our preschool children made their own instruments and experimented with the sounds they made. view more
Building Blocks Construction
The Acre Woods North Sydney Preschoolers were inspired by a farmhouse that was built from wooden blocks by two children in their class. The following week we decided to build on this spontaneous experience, when the children talked about what they had created and the photos we had taken. Following on from this, we asked the children to recreate the construction. view more
