To make our parents' lives a little easier, Acre Woods provides a number of inclusions as part of the daily fee:

• Nappies
• Bed linen
• All meals
• Jungle Buddies Health and Wellbeing program 

Meals
The centre provides all meals, consisting of a nutritionally balanced menu of morning tea, hot lunch, afternoon tea, fresh fruit and a late snack. Soy milk, cow’s milk and water are also included.

These meals are freshly prepared on a daily basis by a specialist catering firm, Kids Gourmet Food, with specific expertise in childhood nutrition. Over 50% of your child’s recommended daily intake is provided each day, and the menus are changed on a regular basis.

Jungle Buddies

This exciting program, with the help of its two cheeky characters, Max the Monkey and Fiona the Giraffe, promotes healthy eating and the benefits of being active through dance, games, animated stories and interactive learning experiences.

The program has been developed to take into account age and developmental milestones with a separate program for toddlers and preschoolers.

Jungle Buddies is run by Cassie Shannon, who has been involved with Acre Woods for a number of years. After following her passion of Physical Culture and Dance, along with her love of working with children, Cassie has developed this fun and interactive program that encourages children to understand how healthy eating and being active has a positive impact on their bodies. Her aim is to ensure that the program is ‘fun, interactive, educational and inspiring!’
